1. Introduction to your business:
MODS Agency is a digital marketing and technology firm based in Minnesota. We help sports organizations and modern businesses grow through branding, web development, automation, and AI-driven strategy. Our model is fully remote, allowing us to serve clients across the United States with agility and precision.
2. Brief description about yourself:
I studied at the University of Minnesota, where I also played Division 1 hockey for the Gophers from 2014 to 2018. After my playing career, I worked and traveled globally—living in Beijing for hockey development work, studying abroad in Italy, and visiting nearly every U.S. state while collaborating with teams and businesses connected to the sport. In 2021, I returned to school for UX/UI design to deepen my understanding of user experience and digital systems. Those experiences shaped my approach to building MODS—where design, structure, and human connection all meet.
3. What inspired you to start your business?
I saw a gap between traditional sports operations and modern digital strategy. My background in hockey exposed me to how fragmented marketing and communication systems could be. MODS was built to close that gap—to give organizations simple, effective tools that connect their brand, audience, and growth strategy.
