QUESTION: Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

ANSWER: We act as a Marketing Consultant and Advertising Agency combined, and are able to analyse your business and help you reach more customers quickly and efficiently through our extensive internet marketing services. We are based in Sheffield but help businesses across the United Kingdom as most work of this type is done remotely.

QUESTION: Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

ANSWER: I was an electronics engineer for a long time, customer facing in the field. I took satisfaction from a happy customer when equipment had been successfully commissioned.

QUESTION: What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

ANSWER: I started to get interested in the internet and the many possibilities it opened up, finally realising there was a need to help small businesses in particular cope with the huge changes the internet was bringing to business where larger companies were hiring staff to promote on the internet but smaller businesses could not and struggled to cope. So having amassed a wealth of knowledge and skills in the digital marketing area I decided to set up my business to help these companies.

QUESTION: What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

ANSWER: 1-Research thoroughly, be sure there’s a market for your service or product. 2-Make a business plan, this concentrates the mind and ensures you don’t miss anything in the planning, 3-Make sure you have sufficient funding to cope with the start up period.

QUESTION: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

ANSWER: Work ethic, Being open to new ideas, Persistence

ANSWER: 12

ANSWER: Not giving up, learning from failures

ANSWER: Referrals from happy customers

ANSWER: Originally funded from previous engineering career.

ANSWER: Always treat your customers well, give them value and try to help even the most difficult customers.

ANSWER: Expanding to help a larger range of businesses but keeping the same customer focused values.

ANSWER: In digital marketing, you need to be on top of the latest changes, particularly from Google, so you always do a good job for your customers.

ANSWER: Make my own decisions and take responsibility, answering only to customers.
