After taking over her mother’s family-owned accounting business, Katie has grown it into a thriving firm with a focus on providing exceptional tax preparation and bookkeeping services. What inspired you to start your business?
After Katie’s mother passed away, she took over the family business. The business continued to grow, and her daughter came into the firm. Her cousin started a career with TaxMom as well. Katie’s childhood friend later joined, along with two of her daughters. Business quickly changed after Covid, and many things went digital. We have an online portal for clients to upload documents and store copies of their tax returns. This also allows people to access their documents at their convenience.

All of our staff members are QuickBooks trained, and we continuously stay updated on changing tax laws.
