Answer: Golden Glass TN is a family-owned, local Middle Tennessee company. Management has managed multiple successful construction industry companies. Our business and architectural college degrees help us, but our job experiences, knowledge, and customer service propel us every day. Golden Glass TN has a wide range of job experiences including many home replacement windows and doors and home glass & mirror jobs, large shower glass projects in downtown Nashville high rises, and restaurants & businesses commercial store front new construction and remodels. Question: What inspired you to start this business or get into this industry?
Answer: Our Middle Tennessee customers are our neighbors and friends and deserve quality service and products. Golden Glass TN is driven daily to meet the growing needs of our community. Windows, doors, glass, and mirrors are an important part of every home and business and we take pride in helping our neighbors and friends in emergencies and completing projects that make homes and businesses better.
Question: What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs/business owners?
Answer: Experience and knowledge are most important. Know your craft, including every level & job necessary for the business, and do it to the best of your ability. Expect long hours, the business becomes a part of you and you are the business. Avoid shortcuts and bad or unsafe practices. Quality and safety are priorities for every business. Communication and customer service are key, especially with social media, reviews, and rating systems of today. Customers like clear contracts and knowing what to expect. Strive to improve and do better every day.
Question: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur/business owner?
Answer: 1. Quality and safety are the most important. If you know it will be bad, then do not do it.
- Thirst to learn correctly and more. Know what you’re doing and strive to know and do more than you know and do.
- Positive internal and external customer service and communication. Try to be kind to all, even in bad situations.

Answer: Staying driven, and focused. reliable, steadfast for the long haul, and finish each job strong.

Answer: Word of mouth/ referrals stemming from repetitive quality, successful jobs.

Answer: Self, friends & family. Be careful to not get too many or unknown investors. Being frugal, wise, and saving is important. Self-investment is the best and slow steadfast growth will ensure longevity. “Too many hands in the pot” sometimes results in higher than necessary expectations.

Answer: Consistent quality, and safety. Setting and accomplishing goals.
