1)Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans)Le Rêve Spinal Care and Pain Management Clinic is dedicated to help patients get out of pain as fast as possible. We are a one stop shop for helping patients stay healthy and in a state of wellness. Together with conventional medicine and chiropractic medicine we have the power to help chronic pain patients to get out of pain faster and help their state of well-being. We are conveniently located in the northwest section of Atlanta, GA. We currently have one location and it is located close to the major intersection or Powers Ferry and Windy Hill near the intersections of the I-75 and I-285 freeways.

2)What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans) I was going to many interviews when I first moved to Atlanta. On each interview that I had, I noticed how many different types of people – some with few children as patients – were managing a huge practice. This gave me encouragement (if they can do it, I can do it) – to open a clinic of my own. I didn’t know anything about business. I never owned a business before, but I researched and talked to other people in town, and decided to open my own clinic. Today, I have owned my successful clinic for over 4 years. This decision was the best decision I ever made.

3)What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Ans)The three pieces of advice, which it might even be more than that. Here they are:

  • You have to know there will be hard times ahead, but you will never succeed if you don’t take a chance.
  • Research as much as you can and ask people who have done it before you. Experience is something that can’t be taught. But it can be passed on to others as guidance.
  • Make your office your second home. You must feel your best when you are at work. Do what it takes to make it your second home. If you feel comfortable, others will too. At the same time, be professional, and respectful.
  • Make a list for your successes to occur – monthly, weekly, and annually. Your list must have goals and achievements.
  • What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
  • Being compassionate, being persistent, take chances, learn from mistakes.

4)How many hours do you work a day on average?

Ans)9-10 hours per day.

5)To what do you most attribute your success?

Ans)You must have compassion, empathy, and love of what you do to be successful.

6)How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

Ans)To me the best marketing tool is myself. I talk to my patients and other people outside the clinic about their health. And I pass my business cards out to people so that they remember me and our clinic. One of the most important marketing tactics is word of mouth for me, and this leads to referrals from other patients. And my patients give me great reviews online.

7)Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?

Ans) I don’t have any investors and all my funds came from my saving over the years.

8)What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

Ans)Have patient reviews posted online, build long-term relationship between patients and myself. I also like to build relationships between attorneys, other doctors, and myself, if we choose to refer patients for help.

9)Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?

Ans)I like to think I will open another branch of my clinic in another location in 5 years so that I can serve more patients more conveniently. In 10 years, I hope I would have to employ others, as well to work at the clinics.

10)Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?

Ans) I believe the way Home Depot treats their employees and the ethical values they have is amazing. I also keep hearing from small business owners that Home Depot likes to give Saturdays and Sundays off to their employees, so they can have valuable family time. I admire businesses that care about their employees like family members.

11)How important have good employees been to your success?

Ans)Good employees are important to the point that they care as much as me about my business, so he or she will be a great asset to my business.

12)How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?

Ans)I hardly ever gave up on an idea. Unless I know it’s not realistic. But I am a go get it done kind of a guy. The moment I think of something, the chances are is going to be done in 1 day, if not that day.

13)What motivates you?

Ans)What motivates me is to see my patients happy, healthy, and out of pain. This shows me that I have done something good for them and it makes me to keep wanting to continue to help patients. Also, family is very, very important to me – so every one of those aspects are inspiring to me and motivating to me.
