We are a locally owned dumpster rental company established in 2021, proudly serving the Glendale, AZ area. Specializing in a range of dumpster sizes from 5 to 30 cubic yards, we cater to both residential and commercial projects. Our service area currently extends up to 25 miles from Glendale, with plans to expand into the East Valley in the near future.
Give us a brief description about yourself.
I’m Justin Frazier, the owner and operator of Zona Dumpster Rentals, a family-owned business based in Glendale, Arizona. I launched this venture in 2021 with a single pickup truck, trailer, and one dumpster. By 2023, I transitioned to full-time operations, and our fleet has since expanded to include two trucks and over 20 dumpsters. Witnessing this growth has been a significant achievement, and I’m proud to serve our community with reliable and efficient waste management solutions.
What inspired you to start a new business venture?
From IT Specialist to Entrepreneur: My Journey to Zona Dumpster Rentals
For over 12 years, I worked as a radio communications network specialist in the IT field. While I gained valuable experience, I reached a point where advancement opportunities were limited, and I found myself in a position with little room for growth. Recognizing the importance of continuous personal and professional development, I realized that to achieve more in life, I needed to take control of my future. This realization led me to start Zona Dumpster Rentals, a business that allows me to forge my own path and create opportunities not just for myself, but also for my community.
How did the idea for your business come about?
The straightforward and sincere answer is YouTube. I came across a video featuring a gentleman who had custom-built a hook lift truck for his small business. Inspired by his ingenuity, I spent several hours online that evening researching until I found the perfect truck for my needs.
To what do you most attribute your success?
Building a business has been one of the most challenging yet fulfilling journeys of my life. It demands unwavering commitment, hard work, and a deep understanding of my customers’ needs and desires. Without their trust and support, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Their feedback and loyalty have been instrumental in shaping my path forward.
What do you think is the best way to achieve long-term success in business?
Establishing genuine, transparent relationships with customers is fundamental to achieving long-term business success. Customers are the heart and soul of any business; without them, there would be no foundation to build upon. Their trust and loyalty are earned through consistent, honest interactions and a commitment to meeting their needs.
Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Over the next 5 to 10 years, I aim to expand Zona Dumpster Rentals into a leading provider of waste management solutions, while exploring new business ventures to diversify and strengthen our brand.
How important have good employees been to your success?
I am currently the only employee, but plan to add drivers in the near future.
