Q 1. Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans : PharmCandy, LLC is owned and operated by multiple individuals with a combined 60 years of Health and Fitness knowledge in the sports nutrition/ supplement industry.

Q 2. Our business was designed to provide safe and natural supplements for individuals seeking to lose weight and/or increase their energy levels without any side-effects. Our products are specific to weight-loss (Anaburn-5) and increasing Energy (Revabol-1).

Ans : We are headquartered out of Grand Rapids, Michigan and we MNFR our products in Georgia in a GMP certified facility.

Q 3. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Ans : The owner has a lengthy resume: Bachelor of Science in Marketing Minor in Sales Certificate in Psychology Self-Starter- Managed one of the largest Gyms in West Michigan to learn more about the consumers: goals, struggles, desires to create a supplement line to be a solution.Owned /Created a highly successful bodybuilding supplement company from 2006-2015 and sold in 2015. Real Estate Top 1% of agents for a decade prior in his prior career. Platinum Club Member

Q 4. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans : After selling my his company, specific to body-building supplements, Mr. Bartholomew wanted to create a new company that would help the millions of Americans suffering from obesity and lack of energy to improve their standard of living. Along with the idea of helping consumers directly with achieving weight-loss or enhanced energy, Mr. Bartholomew also wanted an in-direct way of helping to make the world better as well. For each sale, a generous 10% of profits is donated to the Samuel Omogo Foundation which builds wells in Nigeria. Each well costs $5,200 and provides drinking water for up to 1000 persons daily. PharmCandy was built to: improve health, increase standards of living and help make this world a better place.

Q 5. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Ans : Know your industry. If you know what the consumer’s: struggles, goals and dreams are then you can more effectively help them achieve it.Have Faith in God. It’s always scary putting your neck on the line but with persistence and a great product/service anything can be done.Develop a premium product or service that you can be proud of to put your name on. Reputation is the main life -line for any business.

Q 6. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Ans : Have Courage: You have to be willing to take risks, no risk = no reward. Be a Leader: Develop an environment set for success. If everyone acted like you how much better would your business be? Get key personal that you trust as the foundation to build on. Be Patient: Overnight success takes years as nothing worth having comes easy. Carry a good attitude and be consistent with actions.

Q 7.How many hours do you work a day on average?

Ans : As a leader and owner of any business is heavily involved with day to day operations it doesn’t become a job but a life-style. The leaders at Pharmcandy: live, eat and breath the industry and it is apart of every minute or our life style.

Q 8. To what do you most attribute your success?

Ans : God is the key to my success, with Him all things are possible. Without Him as my foundation I would not of been able to help others achieve their goals.

Q 9.lHow do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

Ans : There are many ways in this new ‘information-age’ to get your company name out their quickly but without a great product or service your success will be short lived. We, at PharmCandy, have two incredible products (Anaburn-5, Revabol-1) that are safe, natural and simply work. Our initial approach was thru channels such as: social media, Affiliate Marketing and Search Engine Optimization. If consumers like the results or experience that they have had with your company then they will refer and come back themselves again. Our key success has been from people talking about us. Organic growth is what we love because it’s raw marketing straight from the consumer which creates better conversions to sales.

Q 10. Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?

Ans : Our funds came from Mr. Brian Bartholomew, the CEO of PharmCandy,LLC. He has intimate knowledge of the industry and used some of his resources from the last bodybuilding company he sold to fund the new PharmCandy venture.

Q 11.What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

Ans : You have to have a solid foundation to build-on with a very strong belief in the product or service that you are selling.

Q 12.Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?

Ans : We have had incredible success thus far and we see PharmCandy, LLC being a brand name that Americans will recognize and connect with when they see our products. We also see new products being introduced in the same weight-loss and energy-enhancing categories in the near future.

Q 13.Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?

Ans : Apple, is the company that I admire most. They are innovative, provide excellent products and have outstanding customer support when you walk into any Apple Store. Steve Jobs has persevered thru hardship and became a benchmark in his tech industry

Q 14.How important have good employees been to your success?

Ans : Our team members are excited for the opportunities they have been presented with and simply love what they do. We highly value our team members and know they are the pulse of the company.

Q 15. How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?

Ans : If there is a Will then there is a Way. It’s good to be persistent but not foolish, in our Industry the market tells us fairly quickly if an new implemented idea was a good one or not.

Q 16.What motivates you?

Ans : Motivation comes from seeing others achieve their goals. When we receive a before/after photo with a strong testimony on how one just lost 30lbs or finally feels normal with their energy levels it motivates us to want to help more people. Or when we fund a new well in Nigeria and which provides water to 1,000 persons daily and they no longer have to walk 5 miles to a water source, it’s an unbelievable feeling to know we were able to be apart of it.

Ans : Be honest and transparent – do not hide anything from the consumer.

Q 18.How do you generate new ideas?

Ans : We always look at ways to improve every aspect of our business. As an entrepreneur, the mind is always ticking and sometimes you just get iucky with something amazing.

Q 19.How do you define success?

Ans : Success is accomplishing what you set out to do whether it’s making $20,000,000 or helping one person. Our success comes from helping to make the world a better place, money always comes when you enjoy what you are doing.

Q 20.How do you build a successful customer base?

Ans : You have to have a product or service that works, priced competitive and provide excellent customer service.

Q 21.What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

Ans : The thrill of the hunt and taking risks.

Q 22.What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Ans : In my prior career, my first sale in real-estate was what lit the fire under me. I was able to make money by helping others find their dream home. It was the start of it all.

Q 23. What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?

Ans : Mind Set. It really is just a mind set on how we have been conditioned to go to school, get good grades and get a good job. They should be teaching you to learn from those who have the results in life that you want and go after it.

Q 24.What kind of culture exists in your organization? How did you establish this tone and why did you institute this particular type of culture?

Ans : Our culture is really about having a good attitude and wanting to help others. The team members that work with us love what they do and it makes it more fun for all.In one word, characterize your life as an entrepreneur. Exhilarating

Q 25. If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?

Ans : Much of my success has come from learning how not to do things in the past so I would not change anything. Everyone has a unique path from getting to A to B to C, there is not 1 correct way to do it.

Q 26. How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?

Ans : Being a business owner brings opportunities that I am able to share with my family that we would not be able to do if I worked as an employee.

Ans : Centrally located within the USA

Q 28. Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?

Ans : Yes, it’s a mind-set. You have to believe in yourself and be persistent.

Q 29. If you could talk to one person from history, who would it be and why?

Ans : Jesus Christ, He is the greatest Teacher that ever walked the face of this earth.

Q 30. Who has been your greatest inspiration?

Ans : My Father was a successful business owner and I knew growing up that I would want to be like him.
