Ans : Harmony Addictions Clinic is one of the first rehab centers to offer holistic therapy for substance abuse. At Harmony we rebuild lives from the chronic and progressive addiction to alcohol and other drugs. We utilize the 12 step method of rehabilitation as well as the latest developments in the field of addiction.
As one of the leading rehabilitation centers that serves Cape Town, Johannesburg, Ceturion, & Pretoria, South Africa, our counsellors hold university degrees and have extensive experience. We provide gender-separated programs to encourage sharing and minimize distractions. Our facility treats addiction to alcohol, heroin, cocaine, crystal methamphetamine, ecstasy, marijuana, and prescription drugs as well as co-dependence, sexual addiction, and gambling addiction.
Our facility is located in the valley of Hout Bay, surrounded by mountains and ocean. Extensive trauma work by internationally accredited therapists, Somatic Breath work, hypnosis, drumming, meditation, and dance therapy. Our main facility has a gym, tennis court, and swimming pool. Q. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).
Ans : I hold a Bachelor of Arts form the University of Strathclyde. I am a Certified Trauma Therapist.
I also volunteer my services as an ambulance emergency assistant and fireman. These are how I giveback to the community.
Q. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?
Ans : There was a need for rehabilitation centers that provide effective treatment. Helping the addicted population is a passion of mine as I am in recovery from my own addiction.
My first venture gained popularity and I had to expand in order to meet the increased demand.

Ans : I work an average of 8 hours per day. I feel it’s important to have a good balance between work and leisure time.

Ans : I attribute my success to my passion for what I do. It’s the driving force behind my perseverance.
Q. How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
Ans : I have a team dedicated to promoting our website. We also send out a newsletter regularly in order to stay current. The website has definitely been the most successful form of marketing.
Q. Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?
Ans : I invested my own money. I sold one of my homes to be able to open my first business.
Q. What is the best way to achieve long-term success?
Ans : For me the best way to achieve success is through having a positive attitude. Always seeing glass half full and to nurture your employees.
Q. Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Ans : My vision is to have a treatment facility across the country. Once that is achieved to open facilities across the borders. There is a great need in our neighboring countries.
