Answer: Renew Now CE is a continuing education company for healthcare providers of various disciplines. We are based in Gainesville, Fl but have staff across the United States.
Questions: Kindly give us a brief description about yourself
Answer: I’m a wife, mom of two, and healthcare entrepreneur residing in north central Florida, where I serve as the CEO of Renew Now CE, dedicated to empowering caregivers nationwide; I hold multiple nursing degrees, including a Master of Science in Nursing FNP from the University of Massachusetts Boston, and have been recognized with honors such as the Nursing and Health Sciences Faculty of the Year award and the TEDMED Front Line Scholar title.
Questions: What inspired you to start a new business venture or to make significant changes in an existing business? How did the idea for your business come about?
Answer: I was inspired to start Renew Now CE when I realized that the quality of CE that existed needed improvement. It was all PDF’s and learners just scanned through and retained nothing from the experience. I had just finished a research project that showed how short videos help retain knowledge so I was inspired to create a new learning experience that helped professionals in healthcare gain confidence and would actually improve their practice while satisfying their CE requirements.
Questions: What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Answer: Start by taking action on your ideas, remain flexible and ready to pivot while staying focused on your goal, and leverage your strengths by seeking help in areas where you need improvement.
Questions: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Answer: Success requires hard work and learning new skills, strong communication—both in conveying your company’s goals to clients and improving interpersonal skills with colleagues—and resilience to overcome internal and external challenges.
Questions: How many hours do you work a day on average?
Answer: Anywhere between 2-12 and usually some time on the weekend when the kids are napping.
Questions: To what do you most attribute your success?
Answer: Success is a journey not a destination. I believe hard work helps you move more quickly along that journey.
Questions: What is the best way to achieve long-term success?
Answer: Consistent effort.
Questions: Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Answer: I see myself delegating more and managing people and processes at Renew Now CE LLC, which should unlock additional growth potential and allow me to spend more time with my family, especially with my newborn baby boy.

Answer: I admire altruistic brands like Patagonia and any female led companies rank high on my list as well.
