Gloss Dental Kallison Ranch is a full-service dental practice in the Far West Side of San Antonio, Texas. Offering a wide range of dental services for all ages, the practice is committed to providing excellent dentistry in a caring and comfortable environment. Answer: At the heart of Gloss Dental Kallison Ranch are Dr. Thakkar and Dr. Nigam, two distinguished dental professionals committed to providing exceptional care. Both are highly focused on providing quality and ethical care. Dr. Thakkar, with almost 15 years of experience in dentistry, is a graduate of Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. His journey in dentistry is marked by a commitment to continuing education and a deep belief in treating each patient like family. His expertise, coupled with a passion for helping patients improve their smiles and quality of life, makes him a cornerstone of the practice. Dr. Nigam, a prosthodontics specialist with an MDS from Mumbai and an MMSc in Oral Biology from Harvard School of Dental Medicine, brings a wealth of knowledge and skill in advanced dental procedures. Known for her artistic and creative approach to smile design and implant surgery, Dr. Nigam is dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality care.

Questions: What inspired you to start this business or get into this industry? Or to make significant changes in an existing business? How did the idea for your business come about?

Answer: As a dentist business owner, my focus has always been on the smallest details, be it while I am doing a procedure or running a dental office. It’s the minor details like the patient greeting as the patient walks in, the experience while taking care of their oral health, and more. It’s not one big item that separates us from our competition, it’s many small things that add up to an ultimate patient experience.

Questions: What three pieces of advice would you give to budding dentists?

Answer:  My biggest advice to any dentist is that we are helping people live better lives, it’s not just about fixing teeth. Daily, we are positively touching many lives, and this should be our ultimate goal and reward.

Answer: Good clinical skills, good people skills, and a genuine desire to help others

Answer: I see Gloss Dental Kallison Ranch as my own child. As any parent, I want to see Gloss Dental Kallison Ranch become an integral part of the community and successfully serve the community members for the years to come.

Answer: In general, I admire any business that is successful through adding value in their clients’ lives. Many companies have achieved generational success through this philosophy, and it’s very inspiring for me to see these businesses flourish.

Answer: Nothing motivates me more than seeing a satisfied patient who becomes a promoter in the community.

Answer: All team members are an integral part of our business. We see them as our work family that helps grow this young child, our dental practice. Our team members get the utmost respect from everyone as they are a medium through which we are able to provide top-quality care.

Answer: I value hard work, integrity, and service to others.

Answer: We are always looking for ways to improve. The best way for us to continually improve is to receive feedback from our patients. We actively solicit surveys and reviews from our patients so we can learn from our mistakes.

Answer: Success is directly tied to service. In my opinion, the more people we are able to serve, and the better the quality of service equals, the more success.
