Q1: Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans: Omega Disaster Cleanup and Roofing is a locally owned roofing company with a rich history steeped in the area. Together the company’s owners are roofing specialists that have over six decades of combined experience in the roofing industry. We serve all of Southwest Florida.

Q2: Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Ans: Born and raised in SWFL, our mission was to change what we viewed as unscrupulous business practices by roofing companies. This fueled our dream of opening up a roofing company that puts its customers first. We started with a commitment to become honest roofers and this has helped us distinguish ourselves in this community.

Q3: What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans: I had the opportunity to have worked with some great roofing leaders. I also had the opportunity to work for others that didn’t live by the same ethical standards. I knew if I started my own company with a focus for fair pricing and honesty, I could be successful. That is holding true.

Q4: What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Ans:1. Put in the work and learn your trade

2. Know what you stand for and stand against

Q5: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?




Q6How many hours do you work a day on average?

Ans: I get to work at 7:30 and stay until about 5:00pm. If I have to complete some jobs at home I’ll do that as well.

Q8: How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

Ans: When we first started it was all about referrals. There is no better source of marketing than one person telling another. It’s also the cheapest as well. We have been very happy with Kevin Yeager and Yeager Marketing to get into some of our target communities. We are also beginning to build our web presence by working with Polaris Marketing to rank on google when people search for roofing contractors.

Q9:Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?

Ans: My partner and I came together to form the company so the money we needed was provided by each partner.

Q10: What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

Ans: By providing a great value and being honest with people about how you can help them.

Q11: Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?

Ans: I think our company will continue to grow. We aren’t focused on being the largest roofing company in the area but we do want to be seen as one of the best. I believe we are well on our way to having that designation.
