Ideal Insurance Agency is a full service, family owned business. We have been providing customized quality insurance solutions to individuals and businesses in the Phoenix area since 1983. We represent many different insurance companies, so we can compare coverage and price to get the best possible value for you. Our staff is dedicated to providing all of our clients with complete coverage at the best rates our carriers offer. Our years of experience and education allow us to guide our clients in making the well-informed decisions regarding their insurance needs.

Q – Give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Having held a Life and Health license for over thirty years an Arizona Property and casualty License for almost four decades, David Mitchell (“David”) has become an avid advocate of people’s rights in insurance claims. For over twenty five years, David as held the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) certification, an achievement which less than 1% of all insurance specialists in the United States can boast. To gain the CIC, each applicant must achieve at least 100 hours of specialized classes that contain five challenging examinations regarding the applications of insurance policies in the context of the clients as well as the policies and procedures of the providing agencies. In addition to this, a CIC needs to achieve at least 20 classroom instruction hours per year that cover various types of insurance policies. David’s achievements have seen him delivering over 500 hours of instruction involving insurance policies with CIC.

Q – What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)?

We are inspired to do what works for the insured and insurance company. We want to change with times and make the insurance processes as easy as possible. With technology changing it is important to stay aware of new innovative ways to keep up to date in the insurance industry. We strive to be well educated and aware of change being flexible to the needs of our insureds.

Q – How did the idea for your business come about?

This idea was brought about by Jack Mitchell and Dave Mitchell. Not long after the insurance agency started Dan Mitchell came aboard and they have been in business ever since. In Michigan Jack Mitchell owned a company by the name of Ideal Real Estate and when they moved to the greater Phoenix area and insurance came about, it was only right to name is IDEAL INSURANCE AGENCY, INC.

Q – What makes you different from other businesses in your industry?

What makes Ideal Insurance Agency different from other businesses in this industry is that Ideal cares. We may not make the sale if that means you will do better somewhere else. We try to always do what is best for the insured and insurance company. Should someone not be a good fit we are not an Agency that will push you for coverage do not need.

We attribute all our success to GOD.

Q – What do you think is the best way to achieve long-term success in business?

I think the best way to achieve long term success in business is to always be consistent. Always do the best job that you can by taking the time to care.

This insurance business is going to be in business for years to come and will someday be handed to the next generation.

Everyone needs insurance because not everyone has the money to pay for an accident. My advice would be to be honest with your insurance agent by placing all your information down the agent will have a chance to find you the insurance that will best benefit your needs.
