Most of the clients are old dealing with real pain. Not like a tasty drops who caters to younger yuppies who don’t deal with chronic pain. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?
Steve is a serial entrepreneur, he was looking for something. Used to be in website ownership business, e-commerce focused. Lost everything with Google’s Panda update. He focused on the marketing. Only do businesses that helped people. Waiting to find a business that helped people. Wants to feel good about himself when he goes to bed. Older people training with him for martail arts and needed recovery options. Needed products without getting high. The products that helped with chronic pain management, specifically helped his father. RA impacts the lungs as well. The CBD industry is a tough business with banking issues and high competition. Pain patches work for people who don’t normally like cbd products. Also helpful for neuropathy. A lot of regulation to deal with, getting banned by e-commerce companies. This represents a considerable roadblock.
• What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Learn as much as you can, always be the white belt, a student for life, be tough, gotta endure the tough times. Gotta be able to put a positive spin on things. The fighter Santos was a fighter for life and always learning. You always have to be receptive to education. Observation is key.
• What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Didn’t go to college, the traits are inherit but have to be open to learning. Courage. Have to be willing to lose and take hits at times. Didn’t know about CBD when he went into the job. Wants to focus on the formulation for his products. The cream was great but stained people’s clothes. Needed to workout kinks in the products. Asking questions to find the best chemical formulation that works. Problem turned into a benefit, because the new version works even better and doesn’t stain. 3 or 4K mg cream can fix niche men’s health issues, even for older people.
• How many hours do you work a day on average?
It can vary by day some days it can be 6 hours, others its 12 or 14 hours. 8 months straight for 12 hour days. Make better decisions when in better health and in better physical shape.

Bootstrap – doesn’t take loans and avoids debt whenever possible. Used savings and lives somewhat cheaply. Slept out of the gym, had a very stripped down life. Doesn’t have to worry about making big expenses. Lived and worked out on an RV for years. Very focused on his goals and what he wants to achieve, not materialistic. If it’s not broke don’t fix it. Gets the job done.
• What is the best way to achieve long-term success?
Financial discipline. Stick to it attitude. Don’t rush things when you start a new entrepreneurial business. Sometimes can’t get all of the specific details vetted out at once. Packaging, shipping, marketing, etc. Financially prudent. Creating relationships to get a good product is key.
• Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Chronic pain added arnica wants to target the top portion to the skin, MCT oil (fractured coconut oil and olive oil to help penetrate the skin. Helps with the topicals. It can be hard to absorb through thicker areas of the body. Doesn’t want to resort to needles. Permeate the top layer of the skin.
