Ans: I’m an internationally-known speaker, trainer, humorist, consultant, and author. I live in Woodland Hills, California, and that is where my office is located.
Q 2. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).
Ans: I’m a former newscaster, advertising executive, CEO, television producer, and professional speaker. My college degree was in advertising and public relations. I’m the Speaker of the Year for Vistage International, the world’s largest organization of CEOs. Have conducted over 1,500 speaking engagements for their groups worldwide in the past 14 years.
Q 3. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about? I was born in Israel.
Ans: My family immigrated to the United States when I was 9. My parents came to America with no English and no money. In a few years they had both. I watched how my mother became successful in business and her unique ability to connect with people and create great relationships. It is that example that led to work with people as a speaker.
Q 4. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Ans: Read the works of two of the best authors in personal development, people skills, and attitude: Dale Carnegie’s “How to Win Friends and Influence People” and Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”. Reach each of those books at least 5 times over the next year or two and that will internalize highly-beneficial ideas that will benefit you for a lifetime.
Q 5. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Ans: Definiteness of purpose – identify in w
riting your major objective. Be genuinely interested in other people. Be a very good listener and let the other people do most of the talking.

Ans: My positive attitude and the fact that I read the Carnegie and Hill books once a month, every month, for 5 years.
Q 8. How do you go about marketing your business?
Ans: I found Vistage International, the world’s largest organization of CEOs, some 15 years ago and have conducted over 1,500 speaking engagements for their CEO groups worldwide since then. Within that organization, I market myself by giving outstanding ideas that can be beneficial to CEOs. By establishing a record for delivering tremendous “take away” at every event, that has led to many invitations to go to other Vistage CEO groups and speak worldwide.
Q 9. Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it?
Ans: There were no investors needed to start my speaking career.

Ans: By always delivering valuable ideas that people can use immediately to benefit their lives and their businesses.

Ans: Speaking worldwide to Fortune 500 company events.

Ans: Not focusing more on a business career early on.
