Q 1. Please introduce your business, including what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.
Ans: Braun Siler Kruzel PC is an estate planning law firm in Scottsdale, AZ. We have over 20 years experience helping Scottsdale residents with estate planning, probate and trust administration, charitable gift planning, business organization, and real estate.
Q 2. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).
Ans: I have been practicing law with an emphasis in trusts and estates since 2006. I graduated from William S. Boyd School of Law at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nevada. Before law school, I studied accounting at Arizona State University.
Q 3. To what do you most attribute your success?
Ans: Besides just generally trying to be an honest, hard worker, I am very fortunate to have been surrounded by mentors and colleagues who have always provided a crucial support structure. This is especially true still today. Without my team here at BSK it would be much more difficult to provide the level of service to my clients that they expect and deserve.
Q 4. How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
Ans: I’ve always believed that the best marketing is to provide excellent service to your current clients. The better work we do, the more likely they are to tell their friends and contacts about us. Word of mouth has always been the strongest source for new business for me.
Q 5. What is the best way to achieve long-term success?
Ans: Long-term success requires a 100% commitment to excellence. That means professional work ethic, fast and thorough responses to client communications, and striving to learn and keep up with all of the developments in the law.
Q 6. Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Ans: That is a good question. There seems to be an expectation that changes in estate tax law are imminent, which will require lawyers in our field to not only understand the nuances of those changes, but also be ready for the challenge of developing new strategies and solutions to new problems. I expect that BSK will further establish a reputation for having a team of professionals with unique knowledge and experience with the estate tax.
Q 7. Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?
Ans: I admire all of my clients’ various businesses equally!
Q 8. How important have good employees been to your success?
Ans: 100% crucial, for a variety of reasons. In fact, I feel fortunate that the BSK team includes such amazing employees. It makes everyone’s job easier when everyone has confidence in everyone else to excel at their jobs.
Q 9. What motivates you?
Ans: Tough question, since there are so many answers. Knowing that my hard work helps our team achieve professional success is definitely a feeling that keeps me going.
Q 10. What are your ideals?
Ans: Even tougher question. In my professional sphere, my ideals include organization, efficiency, professionalism, thoroughness, etc.
Q 11. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?
Ans: I’m not sure! Whatever it is, I probably can’t say anything about it due to client confidentiality concerns… Ha!
Q 12. What kind of culture exists in your organization? How did you establish this tone and why did you institute this particular type of culture?
Ans: BSK is a team. The culture is that every member of the team is entitled to respect and that credit for every good result of the team belongs to each individual member of the team. The way to develop this culture is probably pretty simple. We give everyone responsibility and we ask them to be accountable.
