Q – 1. Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans: We are a family owned and operated C/D recycling facility that has been in business in Naples for the past 22 yrs. Everyone from commercial business to the gerenal public are able to enter into our facilty to get rid of material that they not longer has a use for. We take in yardwaste, c/d, concrete all in one location. The other side to the business is our Roll-Off container delivery. So if you need a dumpster for a day or a couple of months we can help you out.

Q – 2. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Ans: Whilegrowing up in the mid-west in my younger years with my father I had the opportunity to see the waste business from an early age. As a second generation garbage man I’ve had the privilege to meet some of the top CEO’s in the industry and discuss the future of the waste business. One of most best decision was when I served in the US ARMY and deployed to Afghanistan. I learned what it means to be a team, a role model and a leader while being put in the worst situation possible.

Q – 3. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans: The inspiration came from me having talks with my father about what I wanted to do after my military career comes to an end. I also enjoy seeing material come into the facility knowing that one day that same material will be re-purposed into something else as the recycling process continues on.

Q – 4. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Ans: Never stop pushing yourself in life, move the boundaries and create new ones. Don’t be afraid to get your hands dirty! Never stop learning.

Q – 5.What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Ans: Perseverance. The ability to continuing going even if it seems like there will be no light at the end. Do not be afraid to go out and meet your competition in the same market.

Ans:10 to 12 hours a day in normal.

Ans:Understanding what I did to fail at something and learning from my actions.

Ans: Going to local businesses in the area and introducing myself. Building relationships within vendors, customers and the residents of Naples.

Ans: I always as the customer if there is something we can improve on? Is there something we can do better? How where you greeted when you came to the facility? Listen to the customers.

Ans: We want to continue making the right choices while growing the company as it has been for the past 22 year.

Ans: That would be farmers. Some of the hardest working individuals I’ve ever meet in my life farmed.
