by | Jul 18, 2019 | Business

Q.1 – Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans: We buy houses in Los Angeles and all throughout the Southern California area. If you’re looking for an option to sell your house fast, Mrs. Property Solutions will make the process very simple for you. It’s our goal to buy your house, along with any problems it has, so you don’t have to deal with any of it. When we buy houses for cash in Los Angeles, that means:

You make NO repairs

You pay NO commissions

We pay closing costs

Quick Closing

We are a professional cash home buying company that offers a positive solution to sell your house fast. We pay cash for houses, so that means a quick closing (as fast as 10 days) so that you can collect your cash and move on.

Q.2 – Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Ans: I have been in this business for about 4 years now! Originally from Arizona, I moved to Los Angeles to get started in real estate and haven’t looked back. Real estate is my passion, I love all the creative facets that can be done and when I started my real estate journey years ago, I went on a quest to learn as much about it as I could. One of my greatest achievements has been learning SEO and slowly advancing my site to the top of google search results so that I am the first one that comes up when you are looking to sell your house fast in Los Angeles.

Q.3 – What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans: What inspired me to start my company is the chance to be able to help people get rid of houses that they no longer want. I really enjoy the more non-traditional side of real estate and helping people to solve their complex property problems that usually arise with the kind of houses that people want to sell fast. I like turning old, worn down houses into beautiful new homes that make a new family happy and add value to the neighborhood. I also love being able to take away the stress away from a family that has lots of different headaches attached to that house – whether it be from overdue property taxes, divorce, major repairs, foreclosure or probate – it’s exciting to get to use the skills I’ve acquired and be able to lend a hand to someone in need.

Q.4 – What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Ans: My first piece of advice would be, put in the work! Especially when starting a company, it’s going to be harder than you expect so be prepared for that and do whatever is necessary to keep yourself in the game. The only way to do that is by putting in the work.

My second piece of advice would be to get a mentor and surround yourself with other people that are doing what you want to be doing. Rubbing shoulders with people who are farther along than you will improve your learning curve and get you where you want to be faster.

Lastly, don’t give up! You will have all kinds of trials and tribulations thrown your way and if you can find a way to keep going, despite the obstacles you are given, you’ll have the ability to create a beautiful life that you’ve always wanted.

Q.5 – What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Ans: I believe the top three skills that are needed to be a successful entrepreneur are consistency, networking and problem solving.

Consistency is crucial because any system or process that you want to implement is going to take time! Issues are going to arise and you cannot let yourself get deterred from your objectives when things go awry. When kinks come up, you need to be able to work through them and stick to your processes. Of course you must also determine when things are not working and when changes need to be made, but consistency and follow through is so important when starting a business.

Networking is also central to building a business because you are always going to need the help of other people. Whether it’s networking to find customers, employees or investors – all of them are needed to build a successful business and always being on the lookout for new people to collaborate and build relationships with will make all the difference in whether you are successful or not.

Finally, having the ability to solve problems as they arise will keep you ahead of the game and moving forward. Problem solving makes you creative and forces you to find better methods and ways of doing things. I think the ability to solve problems has given me a huge advantage in my business and had given me the ability to be able to do more, even with less resources than a lot of other bigger, more established companies.

Q.6 – How many hours do you work a day on average?

Ans: Most days I work about 10 hours per day.

Q.7 – To what do you most attribute your success?

Ans: I attribute the bulk of our success to the fact that we truly put the home owners that we work with first. We look for ways to serve the sellers and structure each deal in a way that will make the seller’s life easier. We understand that selling your house is often a burdensome process but we want to change that and make it as easy for you as possible.

The next part to our success is the fact that we are always very transparent about the process and are open and honest about how we work. We don’t believe in deceiving or any sort of gimmicks to get sellers to do business with us – and that is very apparent throughout the whole process which creates a high level of trust. People want to do business with who they can trust and I think that is the reason we have had so many repeat customers and referrals.

Q.8 – How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

Ans: My two main marketing channels are SEO (Search Engine Optimization) and Cold Calling.

SEO has been the most exciting for me, because it’s a long term strategy that I have only more recently been reaping the rewards from. It’s been such a challenge and years in the making to slowly move up the ranks and to the top of google’s search results and now that I’m at the point where leads come to me is just really rewarding.

On the other hand, Cold Calling is also great because it’s more scalable and predictable. When I first started my business I was the one making the calls myself but fortunately, I am now at a point in my business where I have a few employees that make calls for me.

Q.9 – Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?

Ans: I partner with a lot of other investors to fund the deals that we do. I can provide a valuable asset because I am the one that finds the deals and then the investors that I partner with are the ones who funds the deals – so it’s a harmonious relationship in that aspect.

Most of the investors that I work with I meet through various real estate networking events but I have also met a great deal online through sites like facebook, linkedin and biggerpockets.

Q.10 – What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

Ans: The best way to achieve long term success is the be repetitive! In this industry there are a lot of ways to be successful and tons of different methods. Once you do a deal and you know what works for you specifically, then go and repeat that process a hundred, and then a thousand times again. Success belongs to those who persevere and keep at it!

Q.11 – Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?

Ans: In 5 – 10 years I hope to have an office space. Right now, everyone who is on my team all works with me virtually and in the future I would love to have an office space and build a team that is local and create a place that is empowering to come in to work every day.

Q.12 – Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?

Ans: Without a doubt, Amazon! Amazon has completely revolutionized the way we buy products and changed the game. I shop through amazon more than any other store and I love the simplicity, the reviews and how quickly your stuff gets to you.

Q.13 – What motivates you?

Ans: My family and creating a big life for us. Being able to have work life balance

Q.14 – What are your ideals?

Ans: I believe whatever it is you want to attract, you have to first give freely.

Q.15 – How do you define success?

Ans: I believe Tony Robbins said it best, success is doing what you want to do, when you want, where you want, with whom you want, as much as you want.

Q.16 – What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Ans: Nothing quite compares to getting your first deal!

Q.17 – What type of culture exists in your business/company?

Ans: One of learning and improvement! I believe it’s totally okay to make mistakes – that this is how we learn and grow. I’m a big believer in setting time aside each day for personal development and I love that all the people that I work with also adopt those kinds of habits.

Q.18 – In one word, how would you characterize your business life?

Ans: Active

Q.19 – If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?

Ans: Honestly, nothing. I love looking back and seeing what an awesome journey I’ve had and I am so thankful for every detour it took to get me here.

Q.20 – What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

Ans:My greatest fear is living a mediocre life. I use that as fuel to go about my day being anything but average.

Q.21 – If you could talk to one person from history, who would it be and why?

Q.Ans: Henry Ford. I think he has a really cool story and that there is a lot I could learn from him.

Q.22 – Who has been your greatest inspiration?

Ans: My mom, she has had an amazing journey to get to where she is today. She’s been through more heartache and trials than most could imagine and she is still such a loving and forgiving woman.

Q.23 – What book has inspired you the most? (OR what is your favorite book?)

Ans: I recently read and love Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell but my favorite book is ever changing.

Q.24 – What are some of the biggest mistakes you’ve made?
