How many hours do you work a day on average?

As an entrepreneur dedicated to the success of BuyitCBD, I typically work an average of 10 to 12 hours a day. I firmly believe in putting in the necessary effort and time to ensure the growth and development of my business. However, work-life balance is equally important to me, so I strive to maintain that equilibrium by prioritizing self-care and quality time with my loved ones.

To what do you most attribute your success?

I attribute my success to a combination of factors. Firstly, a deep passion for the potential health benefits of CBD products and a genuine commitment to improving people’s lives through our offerings. Secondly, an unwavering determination to build a reputable brand by ensuring the highest quality standards, transparent practices, and exceptional customer service. Lastly, the collective effort of an exceptional team that shares my vision and works tirelessly to achieve our goals.

How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

We employ a multifaceted approach to marketing Zilis. Our strategy includes a strong online presence through targeted digital marketing campaigns, search engine optimization, and social media engagement. Additionally, we collaborate with influencers and wellness professionals who align with our values to promote our products. While all these efforts have been successful, our most impactful form of marketing has been leveraging the power of customer testimonials and word-of-mouth recommendations. Satisfied customers sharing their positive experiences have significantly contributed to our brand’s growth and reputation.

Where did your organization’s funding/capital come from, and how did you go about obtaining it? How did you attract investors for your venture?

Initially, BuyitCBD was bootstrapped with personal savings. As our business gained traction and demonstrated strong potential, we attracted private investors who shared our belief in the benefits of CBD and our growth prospects.

What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

In my experience, the best way to achieve long-term success is through a combination of strategic planning, adaptability, and a customer-centric approach. It is crucial to set clear goals, regularly evaluate market trends, and be willing to adapt your strategies accordingly. Building strong relationships with customers and consistently delivering value are key factors in building a loyal customer base that sustains your business over the long term.

Where do you see yourself and your business in 5-10 years?

In 5-10 years, I envision BuyitCBD becoming a leading online brand in the CBD industry, recognized for our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. We aim to expand our product line, exploring new avenues within the health and wellness sector. Additionally, we aspire to have a strong presence in physical retail spaces while continuing to excel in the online marketplace. Personally, I see myself continuing to drive the growth and success of Zilis, while also actively engaging in philanthropic endeavors related to health and well-being.

Excluding yours, which company or business do you admire the most?

One company that I greatly admire is Patagonia. Their unwavering commitment to environmental sustainability, ethical practices, and social responsibility is truly inspiring. I deeply appreciate their dedication to creating a positive impact while building a successful business. Patagonia’s holistic approach to business aligns with my values and serves as a constant reminder that profitability can go hand in hand with making a meaningful difference in the world.

How important have good employees been to your success?

Good employees have been instrumental in the success of BuyitCBD. They are the backbone of our organization, driving innovation, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and executing our vision with dedication and expertise. Without a talented and motivated team, it would be impossible to achieve the level of success we have attained.

How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?

While persistence is a virtue, it is also important to recognize when an idea isn’t yielding the desired results. I believe in giving an idea sufficient time and resources to prove its worth, but I also value the ability to adapt and pivot when necessary. Striking the balance between perseverance and pragmatism is crucial in determining when to stay the course or explore new avenues.

What motivates you?

My primary motivation stems from the belief that BuyitCBD has the potential to positively impact people’s lives. Seeing the transformative effects of our CBD products and receiving feedback from satisfied customers fuels my drive to push boundaries, innovate, and constantly improve. Additionally, the opportunity to create a legacy and leave a lasting mark in the industry is a driving force behind my entrepreneurial spirit.

What are your ideals?

At BuyitCBD, we are guided by a set of core ideals. These include prioritizing the well-being and satisfaction of our customers, upholding the highest standards of product quality and transparency, fostering a culture of integrity and respect within our organization, and promoting sustainability. How do you generate new ideas?

Generating new ideas requires a combination of creativity, market research, and listening to the needs and feedback of our customers. We encourage an open and collaborative environment within our team, where everyone is encouraged to share their insights and perspectives. Additionally, we actively engage with industry trends, attend conferences and trade shows, and leverage customer feedback to identify emerging needs and develop innovative solutions.

How do you define success?

Success, to me, is not solely measured by financial achievements. While profitability and growth are important indicators, true success lies in making a positive impact, both within our industry and in the lives of our customers. It is about creating a sustainable business that contributes to the well-being of individuals, society, and the environment. Success is also reflected in the relationships we build, the trust we earn, and the legacy we leave behind.

Building a successful customer base requires a comprehensive approach. We focus on delivering exceptional products and customer experiences to foster loyalty and positive word-of-mouth recommendations. We also invest in targeted marketing campaigns, leveraging digital channels and strategic partnerships to reach our target audience. Moreover, we actively engage with our customers, seeking their feedback, and continuously improving our offerings to meet their evolving needs.

What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

My favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur is the ability to shape my own destiny and create something meaningful from scratch. The freedom to pursue my passion, make strategic decisions, and see the direct impact of our efforts is incredibly fulfilling. Additionally, witnessing the personal and professional growth of our team members and knowing that we are making a difference in the lives of our customers brings me great joy.

What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

One of the most satisfying moments in my business journey was when we received heartfelt testimonials from customers who shared stories of how our CBD products positively transformed their lives. Knowing that we played a part in improving their well-being and quality of life is incredibly gratifying. It reaffirms our purpose and motivates us to continue our mission.

What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?

The major difference lies in the level of ownership and autonomy entrepreneurs have over their work. Entrepreneurs have the freedom to shape their own destiny, take risks, and turn their visions into reality. They are driven by a deep sense of accountability and are willing to go the extra mile to achieve their goals. On the other hand, individuals who work for someone else may have the stability of a set role but might not have the same level of control over their professional trajectory.

How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?

Being an entrepreneur undoubtedly requires a significant investment of time and energy. It is important to strike a balance between work and personal life. I have made a conscious effort to prioritize quality time with my family, creating boundaries and leveraging technology to stay connected even during busy periods. Building a strong support system and fostering open communication has been key in maintaining a healthy work-life integration.

What is your greatest fear, and how do you manage fear?

My greatest fear is the fear of complacency and stagnation. To manage this fear, I consistently challenge myself to step out of my comfort zone and embrace new opportunities and ideas. I surround myself with a team of talented individuals who push me to grow, and I embrace failure as an opportunity for learning and improvement.

How did you decide on the location for your business?

When deciding on the location for BuyitCBD, we considered various factors such as market potential, access to talent, and proximity to our target customer base. Additionally, we evaluated the regulatory environment and the support available for businesses in the CBD industry. Based on these considerations, we strategically chose a location that offered a vibrant business ecosystem, a supportive community, and a favorable environment for our operations.

Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?

While there is no one-size-fits-all formula for success, there are certain patterns and principles that can guide entrepreneurs on their journey. These include having a clear vision, being adaptable, continuously learning and evolving, building a strong network, embracing calculated risks, and maintaining unwavering determination. Ultimately, success is the result of a combination of hard work, strategic decision-making, and a bit of luck.

If given the opportunity, I would love to have a conversation with George Washington, the founder of our great nation.
