  1. Provide our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans:- Re/max Results has been in existence for more than 30 years and the forming of ResCom Pros is 2 years old period results has 49 offices and more than 1400 agents in Minnesota and Wisconsin. ResCom Pros has personal offices in Apple Valley, Stillwater, Woodbury, Minnesota, and Hudson WI.

  1. Provide a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Ans:- Our team consists of agents who have specialties in the real estate world including commercial, land development, first time home buyers, new construction, relocation, etc.

  1. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans:- The ResCom Pros team was founded by Scott Schultz and Chuck brooks with the basic idea of providing the client with the most options possible in a transaction.

  1. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Ans:- Advice:

  • work your sphere of influence every day. This will make or break you
  • don’t expect friends or family to automatically use you in a transaction
  • you must be a self starter, get your plan together, and work it
  1. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Ans:

1 self motivation

2 don’t be afraid to dive into a project

3 get a good balance between work and family

  1. How many hours do you work a day on average?

Ans:- Each agent works independently and hours will vary. Some will work as much as 60 hours per week others as little as twenty. It depends on what you want to put into it.

  1. To what do you most attribute your success?

Ans:- The successful agents are self starters and outgoing. Not afraid to work

  1. How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

Ans:- The best marketing has been word of mouth. Changing our system using webworks should be the best path.

  1. Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?

Ans:- Every agent pays their own expenses so if you figure about 1 1/2 years worth of income in savings it should get you going. Most agents wash out in the first three years.

  1. What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

Ans:- Persistence. And don’t forget how you got to the top – your methods and the people.

  1. Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?

Ans:- Retired. But hopefully the team grows and continues to flourish.

  1. Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?

Ans:-Peter Lindquist with Guarantee Mortgage. He created his team and he is working on his plan.

  1. How important have good employees been to your success?

Ans:- The only employees that we have are two marketing people who do all our brochures, signs, etc. And one personal assistant for our biggest producer.

  1. How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?

Ans:- At least one year or more.

  1. What motivates you?

Ans:- It differs with every agent. Some is just the work, others enjoy seeing a process through to the end.

  1. What are your ideals?

Ans:- Always be honest. Educate your client. Take care of the client. But in this industry the client isn’t always right.

  1. How do you generate new ideas?

Ans:- Monthly team meetings that include our marketing assistants.

  1. How do you define success?

Ans:- We are very family oriented. A happy home is happy success.

  1. How do you build a successful customer base?

Ans:- Your personal sphere is where it all starts.

  1. What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

Ans:- I am in control of my future.

  1. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

Ans:- Many period finding the perfect home for the first time buyers seems to be the best.

Ans:- Drive.

  1. What kind of culture exists in your organization? How did you establish this tone and why did you institute this particular type of culture?

Ans:- We like to have fun. If we are not having fun we need to do something else.
