Ans: We are a commercial property management company based in Baltimore City that operates across the entire Baltimore Metro area
Q 2. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).
Ans: Celeste after some schooling in MD and some overseas while in military was administrative specialist for private duty nursing after the military and a nursing unit clerk and St. Agnes rehab center. Major achievement was coming into the ownership of this business specifically after working here for over 20 years
Jesse after graduating from Edmondson high school in 1969 was drafted into military, worked in finance department at the post office while gaining intro to entrepreneurship as a financial analyst under Primerica. Gaining full licensing and certification in financial industry and becoming fully vested
Q 3. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?
Ans: My partner and I had been working for the company for several years and with our experience we saw lots of opportunity for improvement. When the opportunity came along to buy the business, we decided that would be the best way to utilize our experience to take VPM Baltimore to the next level as owners.

Q 4. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Ans: Do an analysis of finances
Educate yourself on your industry and entrepreneurship in general
Know the laws around your industry
Q 5. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Ans: Customer Service
Having a grasp on finances and numbers
Learning you industry
Q 6. How many hours do you work a day on average?
Ans: We know it’s more than 40 hours per week, but it’s more than worth it. If it wasn’t we would do it any more.
Q 7. To what do you most attribute your success?
Ans: Our expert ability to research and our general marketability. Great research has helped us develop the right network and place ourselves in the right position at the right time. Our successful team and network also have allowed us to grow and function efficiently over the years, from realtors to banks.
Q 8. How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
Ans: We have relied on building great relationships within the industry in the past (Keller Williams real estate team), but have more recently seen a lot of immediate success utilizing online tools and platforms to grow our reach.
Q 9. Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?
Ans: The business was already in place when we took over so we operated under the current profits of the business
Q 10. Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Ans: Expansion into new properties, owning our own properties and our building, and employing some of the members of our community
