Q.1:Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Ans:10K Realty is a full service brokerage that specializes in property management.  We are licensed, insured, and experienced.  We have licensed agents that can assist in the purchase, sale, or leasing of your property.

Q.2:Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Ans:I graduated from Luther College back in 2005 and have managed Midwest Bonding for nearly 15 years.  I lead a talented group of individuals.  I am an investor as well and self-manage well over 100 properties.

Q.3:What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Ans:I try to see life with an eye towards abundance.  I really wanted to start a family business free of partners that I could pass down to my kids someday. I had to build a team to grow my expanding portfolio and we found that our property management team ran so smoothly that we decided to market it to the public since it’s what we did best.

Q.4:What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Ans: 1.Take the leap when you’re young or broke because the farther down the rat race you go the harder it is to break the golden handcuffs of false security.

2. Starting a business doesn’t have to be expensive. Too many people pump too much money into starting a business before they have a client.

3. Success comes slow. A business doesn’t grow over night so your efforts have to be sustained and consistent.

Q.5:What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Ans:Grit, Courage, perseverance

Ans:strong work ethic

Q.8:How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
Ans:The most successful marketing is one that generates inbound leads, but in our business personal relationships and putting yourself out there is still the best marketing that I do.  That being said I really like Google my business.

Q.9:Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?
Ans:I was able to use a small amount of my personal funds and I believe that it’s never been cheaper to start a business than it is now

Q.10:What is the best way to achieve long-term success?
Ans:Consistency breeds success.  Find your efforts that are producing results and make them efforts consistently

Q.11:Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Ans:500 doors under management with a marketable business with desirable systems and people
Q.12:Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?
Ans:Renters Warehouse is definitely the leader in marketing for our area.  It really comes down to if you want to join a franchise or try to build a business of your own.  I choose the latter but tons of admiration for the business they operate and they systems they’ve developed.  Their marketing allows them to charge more than the competition.
