◦ Geeks Of Digital is a specialized e-commerce marketing and analytics agency. Since its inception in 2016, Geeks Of Digital has helped e-commerce clients build their growth stories by harnessing the power of data. Geeks Of Digital approaches every brand with its unique methodology that constitutes Conversion Rate Optimization, Organic traffic growth, Performance Marketing, and building Analytics Data Pipelines to drive the most sought-after insights from the data. In pursuit of excellence, Geeks Of Digital has built proprietary tools automating processes and increasing efficiency in every discipline of marketing. The corporate head office is based in Ahmedabad and account management teams are spread across Goa and Dubai.

Rahul comes from an advertising background with a solid experience in copywriting and brand management. He worked for over 6 years in the advertising world and finally took a leap of faith to conceptualize Geeks Of Digital. He brings in a vast experience of brand culture and design language that elevates experiences for clients. He is a postgraduate in Marketing. He has independently worked with brands in the Home Improvement space as well as in Health and Wellness (including e-commerce)

Varun has an account management background working with brands like SAP and Salesforce.com. Before starting Geeks Of Digital with Rahul, Varun worked for 6 years in this space helping clients in the tech space. Varun dropped out of his MBA while pursuing Marketing as a major to pursue career opportunities.

  • What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
  • Find a niche and specialize in it.
  • Perseverance.
  • Handling work pressure in adverse situations and still being composed.
  • How many hours do you work a day on average?
  • 10 to 12 hours

  • Collaboration with like-minded people.
  • How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
  • We have been running organic search campaign for our brand. However, the most successful form of marketing is referrals. If you deliver good results for your clients you will always have high conversions with your referrals.
  • Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?
  • We raised our own funds. Since it is a service business our biggest investment was our skillsets. We invested heavily in trainings and developing skills for the future.
  • What is the best way to achieve long-term success?
  • Stay in your lane. We could have become a Social Media Agency, however, we stayed in our lane and built specialization in ecommerce.
  • Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
  • We foresee Geeks Of Digital evolving as leader in e-commerce marketing space. With AI at the forefront, brands will need technical and marketing support go hand in hand. That is where we see Geeks Of Digital emerging as an industry leader.
  • Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?
  • We see Google as one of the most sought after companies on the planet. Their business model challenges crony capitalism while still staying in the system. Their vision is unlike any other brand.
  • How important have good employees been to your success?
  • Great employees are not those who bring in great skillsets, they take full responsibility to drive the organization forward. They do not stick to the typical KRAs of the company but they go above and beyond that. That makes the importance of good employees part of success.

  • Brainstorming with the team.
  • Constant touch with peers to understand.
  • Going beyond digital to see how tech is changing the old traditional markets.
  • How do you build a successful customer base?
  • Surpassing client expectations with every deliverable.

  • I do not believe there is any difference as such. If you are driven it doesn’t matter if you are working for somewhere or you are an entrepreneur.

  • Absolute autonomy to take decisions that elevates results for clients. Every team member is collaborative yet independent to take decisions in their area of expertise. This has resulted in high level of accountability and efficiency.
