Answer: Karagozian & Rudolph, PC is a law firm located in Woodland Hills, California. We practice criminal defense and mediation throughout Southern California. Our lawyers, Michael Karagozian and Allyson Rudolph, have years of experience and are the team that you want on your side when you find yourself in a difficult situation. We handle all types of criminal defense matters, ranging from misdemeanors to felonies. We genuinely care about our clients and walk them through every step of the legal process when dealing with the criminal justice system.

Question: Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Answer: Allyson Rudolph focuses her practice on criminal defense matters and represents clients who have been charged with misdemeanor or felony offenses. With years of experience as a criminal defense lawyer, Allyson has handled a range of matters, including without limitation driving under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs, assault, battery, other violent crimes, drug possession, distribution and sale of drugs, domestic violence, resisting arrest and white collar offenses such as fraud. She has consistently obtained favorable results for her clients. Allyson’s accomplishments have earned her the recognition by her colleagues as well as selection as a Rising Star and a “Superb” rating from Avvo. Additionally, she has been selected to be a part of The National Trial Lawyers: Top 40 Under 40 list and National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys Top 10 Under 40 list. In every case she handles, she minimizes the stress of the legal process on her clients and their families. Allyson works closely with her clients to help them achieve their legal objective. Born and raised in Southern California, Allyson pursued her undergraduate education at the University of Southern California, where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in political science. She then attended Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctorate.
Michael Karagozian practices criminal defense and also serves as a mediator in civil disputes. Michael’s father was a criminal defense attorney and taught Michael the fundamentals to our criminal justice system at a young age. Throughout his life, his schooling and his career, Michael has been passionate about protections given to us by the United States Constitution. Michael’s knowledge of issues concerning searches, seizures and improper conduct by the government provides his clients with the quality representation they deserve. Michael believes an injustice upon one person that is not fought for creates an injustice that can potentially happen to all of us more easily. In addition, Michael has mediated hundreds of cases on a variety of matters. With a background in real estate and civil litigation, Michael brings specific knowledge from his litigation experience to his mediations. He is currently on the panel of mediators for the Central District of California and is an adjunct professor for the mediation clinic at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law. Michael attended the University of California, Santa Barbara where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. He then obtained his Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. Michael then went on to achieve his LL.M. in Alternative Dispute Resolution at the University of Southern California, Gould School of Law.

Question: What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Answer: Michael and Allyson were both lawyers for years practicing separately before they created Karagozian & Rudolph, PC. They each felt it was time to use their past experiences to create an office together that emulated their goals as attorneys. Michael and Allyson truly fight for their clients every single step of the way. No stone goes unturned when a client hires Karagozian & Rudolph, PC. To Michael and Allyson, a violation on one person’s rights could potentially become a slippery slope of violations of rights of many others, which is why they fight in every case.
