1 – Q) Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business.

A) The Center for Advanced Medicine, located in Alpharetta, Georgia, is a premier integrative oncology clinic that offers a unique, evidence-based approach to cancer treatment. Our proven 12-week Integrative Cancer Treatment Program combines conventional therapies with scientifically supported natural and complementary treatments to optimize outcomes and improve quality of life. We work with patients from across the U.S. and internationally, offering personalized care in a supportive and medically advanced environment.

2 – Q) Kindly give us a brief description of yourself.

A) I am a highly trained integrative oncologist with formal training in both conventional and alternative medicine. I earned my undergraduate degree from Clemson University, and also completed a master’s degree program in physiology from Georgetown University with a concentration in integrative medicine. I earned my medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina, and completed postgraduate training at the Yale University School of Medicine. I also conducted research at Harvard Medical School’s Osher Center for Integrative Health. I am the author of Cancer Secrets, a best-selling book that presents an evidence-based, integrative approach to cancer care, as well as the author of Fasting from Cancer. In addition, I am the host of the award-winning Cancer Secrets Podcast. My mission is to bridge the gap between traditional oncology and holistic, functional medicine, providing patients with a comprehensive, compassionate, and personalized treatment plan that supports the whole person, not just the disease.

3 – Q) What inspired you to make significant changes in an existing business?

A) While working within traditional oncology settings, I witnessed firsthand the limitations of a one-size-fits-all approach. I was inspired to create a more personalized, patient-centered program that would integrate the best of both conventional and natural medicine. My goal was to design a program that not only targets cancer in a very detailed and thorough way, but also supports the body, mind, and immune system—something I found lacking in the current healthcare system.

8 – Q) Where do you see yourself and your business in 5–10 years?

A) We have been blessed to treat patients from throughout the United States, and even internationally, at our Atlanta clinic. We envision continuing to expand our reach to help even more patients.
