Question: Kindly give us a brief description of yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

Answer: I have a strong background in both education and entrepreneurship. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Business Administration, with a focus on Human Resources and International Relations. My entrepreneurial journey began at a young age when I was just 14 years old. I started by cutting a neighbor’s lawn and quickly grew that into a full-fledged business, expanding to serve 25 homes in my neighborhood within just one summer.

While pursuing my Master’s, I started a company dedicated to connecting talent with tech companies. Over time, I expanded that focus to include all industries and sectors, which ultimately led to the creation of Talent Core Solutions. In fact, even before I fully realized it, we were already hiring talent across all states and counties. It’s been an incredible journey, one that’s allowed me to meet amazing people, learn about numerous industries, and continuously explore new, innovative methods in the recruitment space. Each step has been a valuable learning experience, and I’m excited to keep growing and evolving as we move forward.

Question: What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

Answer: My inspiration comes from a deep desire to help people. I’ve always enjoyed working with individuals, learning about their goals and motivations, whether they’re candidates or clients. The process of connecting the right talent with the right opportunity is something that truly excites me. It’s not just about filling a position—it’s about bridging gaps within companies and creating opportunities that can be life-changing for both the candidates and the organizations they join. When both parties win, it’s incredibly fulfilling to see the positive impact unfold, and the smiles that come with it are priceless. It’s this sense of purpose and satisfaction that motivated me to start my business and make it what it is today.

Question: What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

Answer:

  1. Embrace Failure as Part of the Journey – Failure is inevitable, but it’s also one of the best learning experiences you can have. Don’t be afraid to make mistakes; each setback is an opportunity to grow, adapt, and improve. The key is to stay resilient and keep pushing forward.
  2. Build a Strong Network – Surround yourself with people who inspire you, challenge you, and support your vision. Whether it’s mentors, peers, or a solid team, having a network of trusted individuals can make all the difference when you’re navigating the ups and downs of entrepreneurship.
  3. Focus on the Value You Provide – Always prioritize the needs of your customers or clients. Success isn’t just about profit—it’s about offering real value and solving problems. When you focus on making a positive impact, the rest will follow.

Question: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

Answer:

  1. Adaptability – The ability to pivot and adjust to changing circumstances is crucial. The entrepreneurial journey is full of surprises, and being flexible allows you to respond to challenges, seize new opportunities, and keep your business evolving with the times.
  2. Resilience – Entrepreneurship is not for the faint of heart. There will be tough days, setbacks, and moments of doubt, but resilience enables you to push through adversity, stay focused on your goals, and maintain your passion even when things don’t go as planned.
  3. Strong Communication – Whether you’re building relationships with clients, leading a team, or pitching your ideas to investors, effective communication is key. Being able to clearly articulate your vision, listen to others, and foster collaboration will help you build a solid foundation for your business.

Question: How many hours do you work a day on average?

Answer: My days can vary significantly depending on the needs of both clients and my team. On average, I work about 10 hours a day, but what really matters to me is being flexible and adaptable. There are days when the workload may demand longer hours, and I’m always ready to put in the time necessary to ensure that both our clients and team are supported. Being available and committed to seeing things through until the job is done is essential in my role.

I’m deeply invested in fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment, which sometimes means going above and beyond to address any challenges that arise. Whether it’s brainstorming with the team, addressing a client’s urgent need, or exploring innovative solutions, I approach each day with the mindset that the job will get done—no matter how many hours it takes. At the end of the day, it’s about making sure everyone is set up for success.

Question: To what do you most attribute your success?

Answer: I most attribute my success to a combination of perseverance, adaptability, and a deep commitment to building meaningful relationships. Staying persistent, even when faced with challenges, has been key in pushing through obstacles and maintaining momentum. I also believe that being adaptable and open to change has allowed me to evolve with the needs of my clients, my team, and the market. Above all, building genuine relationships—whether with clients, candidates, or team members—has been central to my success. When you focus on truly understanding people’s needs and adding value, success naturally follows.

Question: How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

Answer: The best form of marketing for Talent Core Solutions has undoubtedly been word of mouth. Client satisfaction and the referrals we receive have always been the most powerful drivers of our growth. When clients are happy with our service, they naturally share their positive experiences with others, which helps us build trust and credibility.

That being said, we also leverage platforms like Linkedin, Indeed, Google, and other channels to promote our business and reach a wider audience. These tools are certainly effective in spreading the word, but nothing beats a personal recommendation. A client referral remains the most impactful and valuable form of marketing for us.

Question: Where did your organization’s funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?

Answer: When I first started, it was all about strapping on my boots and building the business from the ground up. I knew that providing exceptional service would be the key to success, and that everything else would follow. At that time, there were no outside investors or large funding sources—I was determined to create something that was sustainable through hard work, dedication, and delivering results.

Today, Talent Core Solutions is fully self-sufficient. Our focus has always been on building strong relationships with clients and consistently delivering value. By putting the client experience at the center of everything we do, we’ve been able to drive revenue organically, which has allowed us to reinvest into the business and fuel our continued growth. The foundation of our success has been about providing great service, and that has ultimately been the driving force behind our financial sustainability.

Question: What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

Answer: The best way to achieve long-term success is by staying focused on your core values and consistently delivering value to those you serve. It’s important to build strong relationships, whether with clients, employees, or partners, and to always prioritize their needs and satisfaction. Adaptability is also key—being willing to evolve with the changing landscape and continuously improving your processes ensures that you stay relevant and ahead of the curve.

Another essential component is resilience—staying committed to your vision, even when things don’t go as planned. Long-term success is built on a foundation of perseverance, continuous learning, and a genuine passion for what you do. By remaining dedicated to these principles, you create a solid, sustainable path forward.

Question: Where do you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?

Answer: In 5 to 10 years, I see myself continuing to grow both personally and professionally, with Talent Core Solutions being an even more prominent player in the recruitment industry. My goal is to expand our reach globally, further developing innovative solutions to connect top talent with businesses in new and emerging industries.

I envision a future where we’ve solidified our reputation as a trusted partner to clients worldwide, known for our commitment to exceptional service and cutting-edge recruitment strategies. I also see our team expanding, with even more talented individuals driving the business forward and ensuring that we stay ahead of the curve with the latest advancements in AI, data, and other technologies.

Ultimately, I want to ensure that we’ve created a lasting impact, not just through the growth of our business, but through the positive influence we have on our clients and the careers we help shape. It’s about continuing to make meaningful connections, building a legacy of success, and having a positive impact on the industries we serve.

Question: Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?

Answer: Two companies that I admire the most, excluding my own, are Costco and Nordstrom. Both have been industry leaders for years, particularly when it comes to customer service and innovation. They’ve managed to evolve over time, staying ahead of market trends while consistently meeting the needs of their customers. What I really respect about these companies is their unwavering commitment to providing excellent service and high-quality products, all while building a loyal customer base that trusts them. Their ability to adapt and grow while keeping the customer experience at the forefront is something that any business can learn from.
