Interview with U.S. Medical Licensing

Q. Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

A. U.S. Medical Licensing is a company specialized in assisting Physicians, Physicians Assistants, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurse, Certified nursing assistants and therapists with obtaining medical licenses throughout the United States and its territories including telemedicine and telenursing licensing.

Our office is located at Palm Bay, Florida.

Q. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

A. I’m a bilingual business administrator from Costa Rica and now live in Florida. I had many administrative jobs throughout the years but have always wanted to start my own company and be able to help the community. I was blessed to have the opportunity to open my own Medical Licensing Company, it’s really important to us to give back to the community that’s why we donate 10% of our Service Fee to charity.

Q. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

A. The medical field is always growing and I wanted to be part of that. I love being able to help physicians, nurses and therapists with licensing process, for that reason we work hard to obtain each license. We have a strong commitment with our community, that’s why we donate to charity.

Q. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

A. My three advices are:
Never give up, the beginning can be hard or can take a lot of time, but it’s definitely worth it.
Give back to the community, so I will advise to have a community commitment plan.
Always listen to feedback and be willing to change with the market you are in.

Q. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?

A. Consistency
Hard work
Be passionate and believe in your company

Q. How many hours do you work a day on average?

A. I work between 8 to 10 hours daily.

Q. To what do you most attribute your success?

A. The support of my family and the satisfaction of helping people.

Q. How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?

A. We market our business in Social Media, Google Ads and SEO Campaigns. We also reach out across the country to the medical community and also work locally.

Q. Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?

A. The capital came from saving over the time and the support of my family.

Q. What is the best way to achieve long-term success?

A. Always provide good customer service, keep consistency and give back to the community.

Q. Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?

A. I see my business growing , having different locations, creating more job openings and having our own charity.

Q. Excluding yours, what company or business do you admire the most?

A. I admire every company that gives back to the community.

Q. How important have good employees been to your success?

A. Employees are very important ,they are on the from lines everyday helping the business grow and the face of the company. They also offer excellent customer service every day.

Q. How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?

A. Never, unless we have tried everything.

Q. What motivates you?

A. The freedom of being self-employed and doing it successfully, providing jobs and opportunities for others and of course giving back to the community.

Q. What are your ideals?

A. Help the community and provide a great customer service to our clients and be able to satisfy all their needs

Q. How do you generate new ideas?

A. Looking at new process that we can incorporate in our business, growing with technology and reading a lot about our business to be able to change with the future.

Q. How do you define success?

A. Working hard each day and providing the best service I can to all my clients. Helping the community is my biggest passion, so that’s my ultimate success.

Q. How do you build a successful customer base?

A. Training your team right and having very good open communication so things get done correctly. Always keeping the customer first and being one step ahead of the process.

Q. What is your favorite aspect of being an entrepreneur?

A. Being able to be my own boss, create my own schedule and help the community.

Q. What has been your most satisfying moment in business?

A. The day I opened for business and Giving back to the community.

Q. What do you feel is the major difference between entrepreneurs and those who work for someone else?

A. Entrepreneurs are creating jobs and opportunities which takes allot of Creativity and Innovation. The stress and pressure that comes along with owning a company is much greater than working for one.

Q. What kind of culture exists in your organization? How did you establish this tone and why did you institute this particular type of culture?

A. We have a Clan Culture, we believe in working as team and learning from each other
