Mandatory Questions –

  • Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.

Company and location? Huntington, New York – I work virtually with my clients. We do Skype, email, phone coaching. Founded from podcasts and then people asked about me coaching them/working with me, so I took some programs, became an official coach, and have been doing it now for 7 years.

  • Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).

My business is for people looking for solutions – relationships, finances, health, business, etc. there is always a solution. We all have things going on within our lives we would like to change, and there is a solution for each of us, and each of those situations, out there. I focus on solution based problem solving because it motivates me. There are always problems that need solutions, and I love helping people find their personal solutions.

  • What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?

People tend to focus too much on the problem, making it even bigger and more difficult to solve, but when I can change their focus to solutions, it becomes easier to solve. That is how I work with my clients – I show them the solutions that they struggle to see on their own. We figure out the problem, clearly understand it, then turn our minds to the solutions as fast as we can. We change our mindset to what the solution is, as this helps us begin to feel better instantly. The more time we invest in the solution and getting inspired/excited about it, the more we are then riding the wave of the solution, no matter what the timeline is. It could take hours, days, weeks, months, or even years to get the full solution to take shape in our lives. We then get to achieve and experience what we want because we can see and feel the solution coming together and changing our lives.
Description of myself: I tell this story in my book, Living Gratitude: A Simple Path to Happiness, but essentially, I’m a guy who is very passionate and excited about life. Then I joined the military to help be a hero to the world and save the world, but then realized it was not the most mature solution I could have given myself. I became a disabled veteran as my body broke down, and it caused a lot of depression because I could not figure out a way out at first. Through the practice of gratitude and the practice of meditation, I was able to focus on the lights towards salvation and happiness that I needed to follow to get out of that dark moment of my life. If it was not for them, I would have struggled even longer than I already had. Dedicated myself since then to helping others through coaching, healing, donating my time, volunteering; it is what I am most passionate about out of everything my entire life.

What inspired you to start your business? I was inspired to start my business because I wanted to help people. I had been helped, and I looked around at the world and saw that others were struggling with troubles, concerns, anxiety, and I wanted to help them find their way out. Through the simple practice of being quiet and still, and connecting with this inner source of faith and strength within ourselves, and appreciating every aspect of our lives – even the things that are not what we want, when you can get grateful before your problems before they are solved, you get a sense of those problems sending you to a new level of stability, strength, and power in your life.
I get to teach others how to do that. I’ve helped hundreds, if not thousands, through the podcast, as it has over a half-a-million downloads from around the world. I have received hundreds of positive responses from people, from both the podcast and from my books, about how gratitude and meditation come full circle and helps others. My books help people, my podcast helps people, and those things inspire me to help even more people than I have already helped. I want to help as many people in this life as possible.

  • What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?

3 pieces of advice –
1 – Get focused
2 – Create a plan
3 – Be patient with yourself along the way
Things go up and down, then all around, and you need to remain positive, believing in yourself through it all, no matter what. Focus and follow-through. It’s amazing how those simple things can help you overcome anything you encounter. Distractions take you off track, which makes getting on track more difficult. Avoid distractions and stay focused, follow your plan, and understand that it may take time to get yourself where you want to go, but you can accomplish anything you set out to do.

  • How many hours do you work a day on average?

– 8-12/day, occasionally more, but when you love what you do, it’s easy to do because you forget and get carried away with what you are doing with them. Sometimes I take time off to spend with friends and family, but my days average between 8-12 hours. I keep things in a harmonic balance in my life, but I make sure I have fun, relax, and work on my self-development as well. I work hard, and play hard, so to speak.
