Ans : Senior Living Resolutions is the source for seniors, their loved ones, case managers, those in need to locate and educate themselves on all of their options for Senior Healthcare in Florida. We also support providers with consulting, marketing strategies, and other resources to help them achieve their goals.
Q. Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).
Ans : After 20 years as an owner, manager, and operations specialist in Senior Healthcare I decided it was time to provide a service to seniors and providers. I earned a degree in Marketing and a 2nd degree in Business Management from University of North Florida. I believe that Senior Living Resolutions is my greatest career accomplishment and will provide services, information, and education to those in need.
Q. What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?
Ans : As an operator in the Senior Living Industry I realized that those in need did not get to see what all their options were and providers that did not have big budgets wouldn’t be seen. I wanted to develop a new model that gives all providers exposure.
Q. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Ans : Don’t let anyone tell you that your business won’t make it. Prepare your due diligence and be prepared to go with out and make sacrifices. Make changes on the fly and don’t overthink them.

Ans : Desire, Determination, and Drive

Ans : Success is determined from within. I strive to prove to myself that I can do the things I set out to do. When the dust settles and my goals are attained then I will be successful.
Q. How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
Ans : With a marketing background my first goal was to go after users not advertisers. I presented at Case Managers Conference in Orlando, Florida where 250 plus case managers and hospitals were in attendance. We picked up over 500 users that use our sites as the discharge tool of choice.
Q. Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?
Ans : I completely bootstrapped my company. I often thought of bringing on investors but at the end of the day I needed to be in total control of the destiny of my company.

Ans : Stay focused on your mission and don’t stray away from it.
Q. Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Ans : I see myself as someone who changed how the consumer gets their information about Senior Healthcare. My business I see going nationwide with multiple revenue streams providing support to providers and seniors.

Ans: I never give up on an idea. I just table it until the opportune time presents its self.

Ans: Taking risk and doing things that some said can’t be done.

Ans: Each morning I work out and listen to music to clear my mind. I think about ideas that are currently out there and try to figure out what would make it better.

Ans: Entrepreneurs see all the angles and the add ons. They want to implement these items. Others work with in a structure and only see the end goals.
Q. If you had the chance to start your career over again, what would you do differently?
Ans: I would begin 10 years earlier and bring on investors.

Ans: It has made it better. I had high stress before which lead me to be miserable at times. Now the angels I see I can put into place.

Ans: I don’t want to fail. I keep that in my thoughts and always know that I have stay moving forward to avoid that.

Ans: A formula not really. I believe its understanding what you are and how you can better your place in business. Once you realize that you should be the risk taker you will do anything to accomplish your goal.

Ans: Henry Ford. His vision on mass production and the automobile was ahead of its time and he was 20 years ahead of anyone else.

Ans: My mother was a salon owner and the first entrepreneur I ever knew.

Ans: I enjoy golf, surfing, and family time. I’m really thinking about work all the time. Your business becomes a child so it to is what you do in your off time.
