Ans: We are a graphic design and digital marketing agency based out of Harrisburg, PA. We believe Snapchat is a great way to connect people, places, and communities to the world, and our vision is to make custom geofilters so accessible that every town, city, and community in the world has their own geofilter to proudly boast!
Q. Please give us a brief description about yourself.
Ans: I am a young entrepreneur with an interest in design and digital marketing. I have started several small businesses since I was a kid and am passionate about putting my creativity into everything I do.
Q. What inspired you to start this new business venture? How did the idea for your business come about?
Ans: When Snapchat introduced community geofilters and the ability for anyone to submit filters for a location, I was intrigued by the idea. I had always been fluent in Adobe’s design programs and I was studying design so I decided to give it a try. I designed a filter for my town and a few weeks later received an email saying my filter was approved! When I saw the excitement and great response from my community I quickly realized the opportunity to put a filter in every town in the world and I knew I was the person to make it happen. I started designing filters for different towns, colleges, fraternities/ sororities, etc. When I realized the huge potential and demand for this service I started construction on geo-filter.com.
Q. What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Ans: Build a company around your passion and you will have a far greater chance of success or if you fail you can at least say you had fun doing it. Adapt the mindset of a life-long learner, the more you know the more you grow. Hard work is the biggest part of the equation.
Q. What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Ans: Having the ability to adapt quickly. Seeing opportunities everywhere. Learn fast and efficiently.

Q. How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
Ans: Reddit promotions have the best ROI (1,000 impressions for $.20!) and are the easiest for targeting certain groups of people with interests in a specific subject. We have been advertising in r/snapchatgeofilters for months and have spent less than $100.
Q. What is the best way to achieve long-term success?
Ans: Knowledge. Market conditions will change, businesses will constantly be disrupted, and people will lose jobs inevitably because of it but if you are a life-long learner you will always be prepared for change and will not fear it, but embrace it.

Ans: I have a lot of respect for the charity water organization and admire their movement.
