1 – Q) Kindly give our readers an introduction to your business. Please include what your business is all about, in which city you are located and if you have offices in multiple locations/ cities.
A) The Texas Association of Addiction Professionals represents the interests of prevention specialists, addiction counselors, recovery support specialists, and all those who serve individuals, families and communities impacted by substance abuse. Through networking, advocacy, support, and education TAAP works on behalf of all addiction professionals. TAAP is statewide. We have chapters in Austin, Houston, Dallas, El Paso, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Waco and few more.
2 – Q) What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
A) 1: Passion & Purpose: Start with a clear purpose and passion for what you do. It will drive you during the tough times and inspire those around you.
2: Market Research: Before launching, conduct thorough market research. Understand the needs of your potential customers, the existing competition, and where you can carve out your niche.
3: Networking: Build and nurture a network of mentors, peers, and professionals. They can provide advice, partnerships, or even potential clients.

6 – Q) How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
A) We are a nonprofit organization. We are not big on marketing. But we do want to create our brand awareness. We are recently optimizing our website too rank higher on search engine platforms. We also hold annual conventions
7 – Q) Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?
A) It’s a non-profit organization. So the fundings are strictly based on donations, charity etc.

A) Keep helping people
