Answer: CRT Roofing Co. is a Southern California roofing company specializing in commercial, industrial, and HOA roofing projects. Founded in February 2020, the company serves clients throughout Fontana, Ontario, Rancho Cucamonga, Chino, Orange County, and the Inland Empire. Our mission is to provide dependable roofing solutions with a strong focus on quality workmanship, communication, and long-term customer relationships. Over the years, CRT Roofing has completed substantial commercial and HOA projects while continuing to expand its presence throughout Southern California.
Question: Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).
Answer: My name is Jorge Solano, and I serve as the Vice President and CFO of CRT Roofing. My background has always been rooted in roofing and construction, and through years of hands-on experience I developed a deep understanding of both field operations and business management. Since helping build CRT Roofing from the ground up in 2020, I’ve focused on growing the company strategically while maintaining high standards in customer service and project execution. One of our proudest achievements has been building strong partnerships with respected HOA management companies and industrial/commercial clients throughout Southern California.
Question: What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?
Answer: The inspiration came from seeing an opportunity to build a roofing company that truly focused on professionalism, accountability, and long-term relationships. We wanted to create a company that clients could rely on for both quality workmanship and honest communication. The idea grew from years of industry experience and understanding what property managers, HOAs, and commercial clients really value in a contractor.

Question: What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Answer: Discipline, communication, and adaptability.
Question: How many hours do you work a day on average?
Answer: On average, I work between 10–12 hours a day depending on project demands and company priorities.
Question: To what do you most attribute your success?
Answer: I attribute our success to consistency, strong relationships, and having a dedicated team that genuinely cares about the quality of work we provide.
Question: How do you go about marketing your business? What has been your most successful form of marketing?
Answer: A large part of our growth has come through referrals, relationships, and word-of-mouth marketing. Delivering quality projects and maintaining trust with clients has been our most successful form of marketing. We also focus on digital presence and networking within the HOA and commercial property management industries.
Question: Where did your organizations funding/capital come from and how did you go about getting it? How did you obtain investors for your venture?
Answer: The company was built through reinvestment, hard work, and disciplined growth. We focused on building a solid foundation step by step while maintaining strong financial management practices.

Answer: Long-term success comes from consistency, keeping your word, and always prioritizing customer relationships and quality service.
Question: Where you see yourself and your business in 5 – 10 years?
Answer: In the next 5–10 years, I see CRT Roofing continuing to expand throughout California while becoming one of the most recognized names in commercial and HOA roofing. We plan to continue growing our team, taking on larger projects, and building lasting partnerships throughout the industry.

Answer: I admire companies that focus heavily on culture, customer service, and long-term growth. Businesses that prioritize their people and maintain high standards over time are always inspiring to me.

Answer: Good employees have been critical to our success. A strong team creates consistency, accountability, and trust with clients.
Question: How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?
Answer: I believe in giving ideas enough time and effort to properly evaluate them. Persistence is important, but being adaptable and willing to improve is equally important.

Answer: Growth, building something meaningful, and creating opportunities for our team and families motivate me every day.

Answer: Entrepreneurs are constantly thinking about growth, solutions, and long-term vision. There’s a different level of responsibility and risk involved.

Answer: Our culture is built around accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and respect. We established this culture by leading through example and setting high standards from the beginning. In construction, trust and reliability are everything.
