Jason Robbins – Patriot Towing is a full-service towing company serving residential and commercial clients. We work with individuals, law enforcement, insurance companies, construction companies, trucking corporations, property management companies, and more. Our company is committed to providing customers with a fair, reliable, and positive towing experience. Patriot Towing is located in Canton, GA, but we serve customers in Cherokee, Cobb, Dekalb, Forsyth, Fulton, and Gwinnett Counties.
Q – Kindly give us a brief description about yourself (it should include your brief educational or entrepreneurial background and list some of your major achievements).
Jason Robbins – I founded Patriot Towing alongside my partner Bill Atkins in 2015. We are proud to have served our country through military service and operate our business with the same level of dedication and integrity. Bill and I are both deeply invested in the growth and well-being of our team and our customers. Patriot Towing is about more than towing. It is about family.
Q – What inspired you to (start a new business venture) or (to make significant changes in an existing business)? How did the idea for your business come about?
Jason Robbins – Bill and I wanted to create a towing company that prioritized treating every customer with equality and honesty. We both recognized that towing should be more than just towing a vehicle. It is a service experience where the customer can feel comfortable throughout the process and confident in our professionalism and capability.
Q – What three pieces of advice would you give to budding entrepreneurs?
Jason Robbins – Form a team who are dedicated to your team and your customers. Always look for opportunities to step it up and improve. Care for customers fairly and honestly.
Q – What would you say are the top three skills needed to be a successful entrepreneur?
Jason Robbins – The dedication to serve your customers wholeheartedly. The ability to work hard to build your vision. The leadership to foster a positive team who can carry your vision and support each other.
Q – How many hours do you work a day on average?
Jason Robbins – In our industry, you can be on call for a towing emergency at any time. Every day the hours change, but we are always prepared to help our customers.

Jason Robbins – Our team is at the heart of what we do. We have found a team of people who are just as passionate about the company as we are. They are serving with integrity and professionalism every day and that makes us a success with our customers daily.
Q – How long do you stick with an idea before giving up?
Jason Robbins – I stick with an idea until I find a better option. Our team constantly learns from each other, perfecting the art of the towing experience. I am happy to adjust my strategy when I find a better way.

Jason Robbins – Our customers. I deeply desire that they receive the towing service they deserve. They should get to feel confident in their towing service’s ability to handle the task and honesty throughout the process.

Jason Robbins – I love being able to create the best experience for customers and employees. Bill and I have taken our military roots and built out a company which can reflect our values and patriotism.

Jason Robbins – Freedom. Freedom to let your ideals guide your decisions. Freedom to change what does not work for you instead of just enduring.

Jason Robbins – Patriot Towing is a family. We care deeply about each other and look for opportunities to encourage each other to be our best. Bill and I have personally seen the power of a unified team during our military service. We believe that our team supports each other’s growth both professionally and personally.

Jason Robbins – Busy.
Q – How has being an entrepreneur affected your family life?
Jason Robbins – Although the life of an entrepreneur is busy and it is hard to truly leave the job, my family is stronger for it. They support me and the business. They inspire me to work hard for them, but also to step away for time together. Entrepreneurship allows me to shape my business to fit the life I want to have with my family.
Q – How did you decide on the location for your business?
Jason Robbins – Canton is a great location for serving Atlanta and the surrounding area. Since Atlanta is the hub of transportation in the state, being able to serve individual and commercial clients in the area is ideal.
Q – Do you believe there is some sort of pattern or formula to becoming a successful entrepreneur?
Jason Robbins – The formula is to always be ready to improve upon the formula. We have learned through our years of experience what methods work well for the job, but we are always ready to adjust our strategy. Being open-minded and committed to continual improvement is important for being successful as an entrepreneur.
